VOLUNTEER

WHY SHOULD YOU VOLUNTEER?

Thanks for your interest in volunteering with us to build a strong community in Denver. Helping the unhoused, refugees and immigrants is life-changing in their lives but you can benefit too:

  • Make a Tangible Difference: Volunteering provides an opportunity to impact the lives of vulnerable populations directly. Even small actions can lead to significant positive changes in someone’s life.
  • Promote Inclusivity and Diversity: Volunteers promote a more inclusive and diverse society by assisting unhoused community members. Refugees and Immigrants. They help bridge cultural gaps and foster mutual respect.
  • Strengthen Communities: Strong communities are built on mutual support and understanding. By assisting the most vulnerable members of our communities, volunteers contribute to building resilient, cohesive, and harmonious communities.
  • Challenge and growth: volunteering with CDP pushes individuals out of their comfort zones, leading to personal growth and a stronger sense of resilience because of the population we work with.
